RRI Futures: learning from a diversity of voices and visions

In this Special Issue, authors take stock of the shortcomings and accomplishments Responsible Research Innovation (RRI) by delving into past RRI policies processes, probing possible desirable futures. Authors weave together old new approaches, such as social innovation, ecological economics, (techno)feminism, care ethics, postcolonialism, indigenous knowledge systems, slow science with aim reconstituting anew in a global context. The Issue extends an invitation to JRI audiences reflect critically on what has been learned imagine practices frameworks for responsible governance innovation alongside other anticipatory, integrative, participatory frameworks.
